KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Malaysia's palm oil exports during the Aug. 1-20 period rose 14% from a month earlier, to 1.17 million metric tons, cargo surveyor SGS (Malaysia) Bhd. said Monday.

The figure is directly in line with market expectations.

Another surveyor, Intertek Agri Services, also estimated Aug. 1-20 exports at 1.17 million tons Saturday.
