KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Malaysia's August palm oil exports fell 0.5% from July to 1.62 million metric tons, cargo surveyor SGS (Malaysia) Bhd. said Monday.

SGS estimated July exports at 1.63 million tons.

Another surveyor, Intertek Agri Services, is scheduled to issue August shipment data Friday.
